Originally based in Hove, the business has since expanded and now has offices in Fareham and St Albans. These results were attained amongst the elite of Consulting Engineers, from votes by Contractors.

Gyoury Self Partnership has developed wide expertise in the design of public sector & commercial buildings, retaining many local authority, educational, healthcare, developer and retail clients. Of particular note is our long-standing

Involvement with Sussex, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton & Brunel Universities where we have completed a number of  projects over the past two decades. The practice has acted for Body Shop International for over 20 years, having engineered their £40 million manufacturing and administration HQ building in West Sussex.

A Civil Engineering section of the practice was created 8 years ago to assist on design build work associated with complex retail, leisure, industrial and office buildings. This part of the partnership deals with roads, drainage and

highways matters.

The practice has been involved in designing buildings on all types of sites, including those classified as

contaminated, for a number of years. GSP Contamination Consultancy combines the expertise of structural, civil and soils investigation professionals to provide a comprehensive appraisal and design development service to a wide range of clients, concentrating on cost-effective solutions whilst minimising waste removal from site.

 

An associated soils investigation company, Ashdown Site Investigation Ltd, has been working alongside the practice for over 13 years, to enable swift and economic soils reports for our clients. The company continues to expand, operating mainly in London and the South of England, working for a wide variety of developer, contractor, architectural, local authority and project management clients. Ashdown have offices in Lewes and St Albans.

Gyoury Self operates in all parts of the UK and currently has schemes in  Ireland, the West Country, North of England  & Scotland, in addition to London and the South of England. A steady programme of expansion is planned.

The practice qualified for Constructionline approval over 4 years ago (registration number 43519), to further enhance the service we provide to our public sector clients. Our membership is renewed annually.
