Access Streatham, Site Update

We are delighted to report that good progress continues to be made on site at the Access Self Storage project in Streatham High Road, South London.

The main construction phase for the concrete basement levels is now complete. This includes all lift shafts up to ground floor level, stair core enclosures, columns, perimeter liner wall, ground floor slab, perimeter upstands and the entrance and exit ramps. The temporary retaining wall props have now been removed, and with the ground floor slab in place, erection of the steel frame is now underway.

Gyoury Self is providing full structural and civil engineering services to the main contractor Harmonix Construction. We are working on the design team alongside Richard Hopkinson Architects.

As might be expected, there has been some general disruption due to the Coronavirus situation, but this has been well managed on site without compromising progress.
