Work has now been completed on Wren Close, our affordable housing project in Epsom and Ewell, Surrey.
Commissioned by Rosebery Housing, the residential ‘infill’ development replaces 37 run down garages that were previously located on the site which sits within the Longmead Estate in Epsom.
The modern housing development is set within a cul-de-sac, providing two two-bedroom semi-detached houses and three one-bedroom terraced houses, delivering a total of five affordable new homes for shared ownership.
Working with Rosebery Housing and Bramber Construction, Gyoury Self has also provided structural and civil engineering for six brand new apartments for affordable rent at Teddington Close. Those six affordable rent apartments are currently under construction and are scheduled to be available to rent from October 2018.
Wren Close was officially opened on Wednesday 18 July by the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell, Councillor Neil Dallen.
There is a growing need for good, affordable housing in Epsom & Ewell, so we see this as a significant achievement in meeting that need. I’m pleased to mark the completion of this important programme of work and I congratulate Rosebery and their construction partners on successfully turning their vision into reality. Councillor Neil Dallen, Mayor of Epsom & Ewell
