Our second construction project for Access Self Storage is now on site at Gillette Corner in West London.
The new self-storage facility is being developed on the site of the former Syon Gate Service Station south of Gillette Corner. The new building will comprise 897 m2 of Class B1 office and 11,089 m2 of Class B8 storage spaces across 4-6 storeys and a lower ground floor level. The development includes associated parking, as well as landscaping designed to blend the building in with the local townscape.
Externally, the storage facility has been designed to integrate with nearby heritage buildings by including Art Deco features interpreted in a modern way. This ensures the building has some visual and historic merit and creates a sense of place.
Gyoury Self was commissioned by Harmonix Construction and we are currently working alongside Richard Hopkinson Architects providing full structural and civil engineering services across the project.
Gillette Corner is one of two London-based Access Self Storage projects we are engineering for Harmonix. For details of the Access Self Storage Site in Streatham High Road, click here.
