Culpeper Close, Isfield

Artists impression of Isfield properties

Our latest bespoke residential development project for Lavender Homes Ltd is about to start on site in Isfield, East Sussex.

The new build development to the west of Culpeper Close will deliver a collection of 10 high-end two, three and four-bedroom properties with associated landscaping, amenities and parking.

The two-storey properties will be timber framed, supported on piled, reinforced concrete raft foundations. This was chosen as the safest and most practical foundation, providing an all-weather solution to take the risk out of bad weather during the build.

Foul water disposal is via a centralised pump station to the public sewer. Surface water is attenuated and stored in a voided, granular sub-base, below the access road, before discharge at a controlled rate to a nearby watercourse.

Designed by Crowther Associates Architects, the bespoke residential homes feature a blend of weatherboarding and decorative brickwork with projecting headers creating a textured effect. The architectural design reflects the existing contextual language, alongside familiar scale, massing and forms that add a contemporary approach to local distinctiveness.

Gyoury Self is providing full structural and civil engineering services across the development.

The Culpeper Close project is due for completion later this year. If you wish to follow progress of this development, please follow us on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
