Practical completion has been achieved at our Lidl Christchurch supermarket project in Dorset, which has now been handed over to the client for the fit-out phase.
Located at the Christchurch Retail Park, the new store will include the full range of Lidl amenities and will potentially create around 40 full and part time jobs.
Lidl Christchurch is one of two recently undertaken refurbishment projects which involve sub-dividing an existing Homebase retail unit to create two new units. At both sites, Homebase has continued operations from one of the new units, while the other unit is being developed as a new Lidl supermarket store.
The newly reconfigured Homebase retail unit at the Christchurch Retail Park was completed last December and is already up and running. For more details, click here:
“Following the successful downsize and refurbishment of the Homebase at Christchurch Retail Park which reopened in December 2020, Lidl will be taking a 18,500 ft2 supermarket store which will include the full Lidl offer and an in-store bakery. It is targeted for opening in September 2021”. Orchard Street Investment Management
