Model of Nunhead Green residential developmentThe new build housing scheme, which was given planning permission by Southwark Borough Council in 2013, will create eight luxury houses alongside a block of six new flats. With its traditional brickwork facade, the architectural design reflects elements of existing buildings around the green and puts a contemporary twist on Victorian terrace housing.

The new housing scheme, which was designed by AOC Architecture Ltd,  is being developed by CHA Ventures as part of Southwark Council’s ongoing regeneration plan for the Nunhead area. This has included a £1.2m programme of investment to improve Nunhead’s village centre, and the building of ‘The Green’, a new community centre which opened last month.

Gyoury Self is providing structural design and civil engineering services to main contractor Airey Miller on Stage E of the new residential development which is due for completion mid-2017.
