We recently provided structural engineering for a timber framed extension to an interesting 16th Century cottage in East Sussex.
The single-storey, gable-ended extension has been sympathetically designed to meet the needs of the property’s owner while remaining sensitive to the original architecture.
Traditional construction methods and reclaimed materials have been considerately employed throughout the design and build stages.
Gyoury Self provided structural engineering for the oak frame and foundations for the new extension, which is currently under construction in a countryside location in East Sussex.
