One of several important student residence projects we have undertaken in Portsmouth and Southampton.
A local landmark building, Rosalind Franklin Hall (formerly James Watson Hall) provides 720 student accommodation units across a 6/8/10/12 storey reinforced concrete framed structure on piled foundations. Tunnel shuttering was used for the majority of the rooms. The lower floors are conventional reinforced concrete framed retail and restaurant spaces.
Gyoury Self provided full structural and civil engineering services.
