Client: One Housing / Southwark Council
Location: Nunhead Green, London
Year Completed: 2020
Project Value: £4.5m
Contractor: Airey Miller
Architects: David Miller Architects / AoC Architecture (Pre-planning)

The Nunhead Green new build housing scheme provides eight luxury houses alongside a block of six new flats. With its traditional brickwork facade, the architectural design reflects elements of existing buildings around the green and puts a contemporary twist on Victorian terrace housing.

The high-performance homes feature energy efficient building services and systems throughout, including PV roof panels.

The new housing scheme was developed as part of Southwark Council’s regeneration plan for the Nunhead area. This included a £1.2m programme of investment to improve Nunhead’s village centre, and the building of ‘The Green’, a new community centre’.

Gyoury Self provided structural design and civil engineering services on Stage E of the new development.
