Gyoury Self is delighted to be working with Westridge Construction on a residential housing redevelopment project in Horsham, West Sussex.
Saxon Weald and Horsham District Council are working in partnership to deliver the new scheme, which involves the demolition of outdated retirement accommodation to make way for new homes for affordable rent.
The new development will have the potential to house up to 71 people in a mixture of one and two-bedroom flats (including two wheelchair designed flats) for affordable rent; and eight, two and three-bedroom houses for social rent.
Gyoury Self has been appointed by main contractor Westridge to provide full structural and engineering service for the project, which was designed by PRP Architects.
Due for completion and handover in early 2022, the development is one of four planned by the partnership to provide 84 new homes for affordable rent in and around Horsham town.
