Project Details
The 425 Oxford Street retail scheme involved reconfiguration and extension of the lower five floors of a 10-storey building in the West End shopping district to create the new 45,000 sq. ft. global flagship Adidas LDN store.
The project called for an extensive new steel frame structure throughout the reconfigured and extended building. Gyoury Self worked alongside the steel fabricator to provide steel connections design services.
Undertaken in a series of phases, the project started on site at the end of August 2016. Handover of the bespoke scheme to Adidas took place in 2019.
Detailed design projects such as this can present challenges in terms of co-ordination, but our engineers and technicians worked in close collaboration with the project design team within the BIM environment to successfully deliver the project.
